About
Barbara Manconi-Smith
Integrative Nutritionist, Holistic Psychologist, Quantum Health Practitioner
Health should be a right not a privilege. My job is to empower you with the knowledge and tools to achieve it.
It’s not only about wellness. It’s about becoming a leader in your own life. When you take care of yourself, you grow. You gain confidence. You make better decisions, ones that line up with who you actually are.

My Story
Why This Practice Exists.
I didn't begin my career in health. I began as a marketer and brand architect, for products that you most likely have in your house right now. Health became my path only when my own body forced me to pay attention.
After a ski accident, surgery, and a subsequent diagnosis of Hashimoto's, I began questioning what was happening inside my body and looking more deeply at the relationship between food, lifestyle, environment, and our capacity to heal and regulate.
The changes I experienced, including seeing my Hashimoto's go into remission, changed the direction of my life. Fascinated by what I was learning, I went back to school and began what has become a lifelong study of health: nutrition, psychology, detoxification, nervous-system regulation, traditional healing systems, and eventually quantum biology and the mechanic of the biofield.
B Well grew out of that journey. It exists because I believe we care for our bodies differently when we understand them.
Today, my work brings those different worlds together in the 6 Layers of Health™, a comprehensive framework that synthesizes integrative medicine, modern bioenergetics, somatic science, and emotional re-patterning.
Beyond my clinical and coaching work, I am also fortunate to bring another lifelong passion of mine: hospitality, into my work. I collaborate with luxury hotels, wellness destinations, farms, and organizations to create transformational guest programs and regenerative wellness experiences. Today, I have a particular interest in farm and wellness stays, exploring how food, land, nature, movement, rest, and meaningful experiences can come together to create a deeper kind of hospitality, one that supports both human wellbeing and a stronger sense of place.
When not in the US, you can find me in Paris with my family, or stomping grapes in the Chianti countryside with dear friends.
My Philosophy
Sustained Balance not Perfection
Knowledge should empower you not take over your life
Open Mind
Be open to the idea that there is more to you that what you have been told.
Let Go
Be prepared to let go of what no longer serves you
A Step At A Time
Lasting change doesn’t happen overnight. Intentional steps lead to progress you can sustain.
Flexible, Not Perfect
Be consistent not perfect. Perfectionism is a big part of why you are here.
